We proudly follow the CFFA Recommended Minimum Performance Standard for In-Ground Swimming Pool Liners, CFFA-P-101. There are 17 different tests that quality vinyl must pass, and you can be confident that liners made with Poolside by CGT vinyl will meet the demands of today’s customers.
Material Strength and Durability: Tensile tests (CFFA 27) evaluate the strength and stretch of vinyl films. Poolside by CGT vinyl is engineered to stretch a minimum of 300% and 2000 psi before breaking, ensuring peace of mind during installation!
UV Performance: Accelerated Light Aging tests the vinyl’s resistance to fading and loss of physical properties when exposed to UV light. Poolside by CGT vinyl is engineered to withstand harsh sunlight, delivering fade resistance and long-lasting performance, keeping your pool looking its best for years to come.
Tear resistance (CFFA 26a) examines the vinyl’s overall durability in case of damage. It measures the force required to initiate or worsen a tear in a vinyl liner. Poolside by CGT vinyl is engineered to withstand a minimum of 220 lbs/in, ensuring peace of mind during installation!
Temperature resistance tests vinyl withstanding extreme heat (100°C/212°F) and freezing cold (-29°C/-20°F).
Aesthetic Appeal: Print abrasion resistance tests simulate the normal wear a liner may experience from cleaning, kids, pets, etc. Poolside by CGT patterns are engineered to withstand scuffs and scratches, keeping your pool looking beautiful long-term!
Density measures the weight per unit volume of the vinyl, ensuring it’s made without excess amounts of fillers that lead to premature wrinkling.
